Board Certified Dermatologist
Dr. Smith is a Board Certified Dermatologist. He brings years of vast experience in all aspects of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology to the Pacific NorthWest.
Currently, Dr. Smith served as the past President of the Washington State Dermatology Association. Dr. Smith is additionally a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatological Surgery, the American Society for Mohs Surgery, the Association of Military Dermatologists, the Washington State Dermatology Association, and Alpha Omega Alpha (national honors medical society).
Due to Dr. Smith's expertise, he has been a national trainer for lasers and dermal fillers. Additionally he has been frequently consulted by other medispas and laser companies for his expert opinion. He has authored numerous dermatology journal articles and chapters. Additionally he has given numerous academic dermatology lectures locally and nationally. Dr. Smith has also spoken on local and national pharmaceutical speakers bureaus.
Local TV and Radio stations turn to Dr. Smith's dermatological expertise on current issues. He has been a frequent guest on Good Morning Northwest educating the audience on a vast array of cosmetic and medical dermatology issues. Additionally, he periodically writes the "Ask the Skin Expert" articles for The Entertainer Newspaper. Frequently Dr. Smith does live cosmetic demonstrations and lectures at local expos and shows.
Dr. Smith is bilingual in Spanish and English.
Dr. Smith graduated from Brigham Young University, University of Utah, and with honors from Ponce School of Medicine. He completed his Transitional Internship at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, and his Dermatology Residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, and Wilford Hall Air Force Medical Center, Lackland Base.
During his almost nine years of active duty service in the United States Army, Dr. Smith served as Chief of Dermatology, Teaching Staff for Dermatology Residents & other residents, and as the Theater Dermatologist in Baghdad, Iraq.
In our local communities besides offering numerous FREE Skin Cancer Screening events, he serves as the Scoutmaster for the local Boy Scout Troop 911. Dr. Smith himself was an Eagle Scout and knows first hand the importance of Scouting. He spends countless hours with the boys to not only have fun and learn, but he is passionate about helping each one of them achieve the rank of Eagle Scout.
Dr. Smith is better known as Sidney's dad, the twin's father, or Rosy's husband. His six passions in life are his Family, his Faith, Chocolate, Exercise, Sun Block, & Dermatology.

Board Certified Dermatologist
Dr. Peck was born and raised in Selah WA. After receiving his BA degree in Anthropology from the University of Washington in 1999, Dr. Peck began his stay on the East coast. Dr. Peck received his MS and PhD degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Georgetown University in 2000 and 2003. Dr. Peck received his MD from Drexel University School of Medicine in 2007. Following medical school, Dr. Peck completed his intern training at Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland PA, and both his Dermatology residency and Dermatopathology fellowship at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia PA. During the final year of his residency Dr. Peck served as the Chief resident.
Dr. Peck is an avid fisherman and golfer and greatly enjoys speading time with his wife and 3 year-old son.
Dr. Peck is currently a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the American Society of Dermatopathology.
Mid-Level Skin Specialist ProviderTroy is a board certified physicians assistant specializing in medical dermatology, dermasurgery, and cosmetic dermatology. He has practiced as a dermatology physician assistant since 2002, in Texas, Oregon and Washington State.
Troy graduated Magna Cum Laude from his physician assistant program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2000. He served as the Chief Physician Assistant for Wilford Hall Air Force Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas from 2001 to 2004 where he received his dermatology training at the San Antonio Uniform Services Health Education Consortium residency program.
After being raised and educated on the West Coast, Troy enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served until his retirement in 2004. After his service in the USAF, Captain Troy Davis and his family retired to the Pacific Northwest. He is an avid outdoorsman, enjoys hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding, playing guitar and spending time with his beautiful wife and his lovely daughters.
Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner
Nurse Practitioner Kathy Stidham graduated Magna Cum Laude from Washington State University. There she earned both her bachelors and masters degrees in nursing. She joined our family as a Nurse Practitioner in 2007 and has vast experience in health and skin care. She has years of experience in critical care, emergency nursing, staff development, pulmonary and sleep medicine.
Nurse Practitioner Stidham excels in dermal fillers (Radiesse, Perlane, Juvederm, Belotero and Restylane) and Botulinum A Toxin injections (Botox Cosmetic or Dysport). She also is certified in Silkpeel Dermalinfustion, Cutera non-ablative lasers and Cutera Pearl ablative lasers. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her six grandchildren, shopping at Nordstrom, reading and eating dark chocolate.
Kathy is a Registered Nurse who earned her nursing degree from Columbia Basin College in 2004. She has experience in both hospital and clinical nursing. Kathy joined The DermaCare Difference Team in 2007 when it first opened.
She is certified in and performs almost all the procedures at DermaCare. She personally performs schlerotherapy, Pearl laser resurfacing, laser hair removal, laser texturing, laser vein removal, tattoo removal, fotofacials, chemical peels, and assists with SmartLipo MPX laser liposuction. Kathy is one of our Pearl laser resurfacing and schlerotherapy specialists.
Kathy has two daughters at home and dedicates her spare time to them.
Office Manager, Master Aesthetician and Consultant
Kara has been with DermaCare since the opening in 2007. Her start began at the make up counter in Nordstrom and soon evolved to runway shows and make-up events traveling with Estee Lauder's National Artistry Team. After 13 years, she furthered her skin care education getting licensed in aesthetics, certified in laser skin care and hair removal, and worked as a regional educator for Babor Cosmetics. During that time, she opened Karavida Spatique in Yakima and ran her own day spa specializing in waxing, spray tanning, microdermabrasion, peels and facials.
Personally, she enjoys fantasy football, traveling with her husband, Smokey, volunteer work, and most of all, her kids activities and family time.
Kara is dedicated to making your DermaCare experience a positive one by providing experienced advice with exceptional service to the client.
Alyssa currently holds a license in Virginia and Washington State.
She graduated from The Virginia Institute of Esthetics with high honors in 2008. After graduating school, she worked as an aesthetician at The Look Salon and Day Spa in Chesapeake, VA. Alyssa and her husband were stationed in Virginia, serving the United States Navy for 3 years. After her husband completed his time with the Navy, they moved back to their hometown, Tri-Cities, WA.
After settling in, in Washington, Jed went back to the family farm, and Alyssa started working at DermaCare Tri-Cities. She has been at DermaCare since June, 2010. She is licensed and certified in laser skin care and hair removal. Alyssa is very passionate about the jane iredale make-up and loves doing make-up consults. Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, going antique shopping and cooking. Alyssa is committed to making each and every client feel special and beautiful.
Robin graduated from Victoria’s Academy of Cosmetology in 2008. She is a licensed aesthetician in the state of Washington. After working in a holistic skincare spa for three years, she joined the DermaCare team in 2012. Her services include facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser hair removal, photo facials and make-up consultations. Robin’s favorite product at DermaCare is the Neocutis Bio-Serum.
When not at DermaCare, Robin spends her time with her two beautiful daughters. She also enjoys visiting her hometown of Seattle whenever she can.
Master Aesthetician and Consultant
Janelle graduated with a BA from Utah State University in 1991, as well as from The Spa Trainers Institute of Aesthetics in 2008.
She has been with DermaCare of Tri-Cities since the opening in January, 2007. She is an expert in consulting, sharing her expertise with many of our customers as she answers questions related to skin, hair and appearance. She is the resident source of knowledge to skin care, products and procedures. She is certified in the non-ablative and ablative laser treatments offered by DermaCare of Tri-Cities.
Janelle also has years of customer service experience, many of those in management, and is dedicated to providing superior service. She and her husband, Randy, have seven children.
Kelsey graduated for the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute in 2006, as one of the top in her class. She joined The DermaCare Difference Team since it opened in January, 2007.
Kelsey is one of our jane iredale mineral make-up experts. She is certified and performs all aesthetic procedures in the clinic. Additionally, Kelsey excels in performing laser hair removal, laser vein removal, laser texturing, Titan collagen acceleration and fotofacial treatments in the clinic.
She and her husband are new parents, and she dedicates her spare time to her daughter and dog.
Clinic Supervisor and Customer Service
Nery comes from Royal City, Washington. She attended Eastern Washington University and received her BA in Communication Studies in 2009. That same year she started working at DermaCare as a bilingual front desk coordinator.
Nery has a passion for skin care and for helping others improve their skin's appearance.
She enjoys spending time with her two sisters and dogs, she loves to cook and shop. By working at DermaCare, she has gained much experience with make-up and lasers. If you have any concerns with your skin, Nery is ready to listen and answer all your questions.
Staci graduated from Lucas Marc Academy in August, 2013 And started with DermaCare in October. She is happy to help you with your skin care needs with her love for skin and beauty.
After spending 4 years in the Marine Corps, where she met her husband, she moved back to her hometown here in the Tri-Cities with their two daughters. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with family, cooking and golfing as often as she can!
Provider Assistant, Customer Service
Jessika is originally from Greenville, Tx. She graduated from Charter College in 2013 as an assistant. Her experience, passions and specialties are exceptional customer service and working as a make-up artist. These skills make her a wonderful addition to DermaCare as our Provider Assistant.
Jessika loves to craft and has a loving husband and daughter that she loves to spend quality time with.
