1How long does the treatment take?
A single procedure takes between 30 and 60 minutes and should be repeated at intervals of 1 to 2 weeks depending on skin type and condition. After the procedure, there is a slight blushing of the skin, which disappears within one or two hours.
2Is it safe?
Yes. Microdermabrasion is a safe, non-surgical approach to skin rejuvenation that has been performed for years in Europe and has gained popularity in the United States in the last decade.
1Is it painful?
Most patients report mild or no discomfort during the procedure. The settings are adjustable and we will perform the procedure at a level that is comfortable for the patient. Please let your aesthetician know if any treatment is too uncomfortable. Your skin may appear a little pink and be a little hot immediately following treatment.
2How soon will I see results?
Many patients experience softer, smoother glowing skin after the first treatment. The recommended treatment plan is between two and twelve treatments, depending on the condition and type of your skin and the results desired.
3Can I combine Microdermabrasion with other procedures?
Yes. Microdermabrasion is the perfect compliment to other procedures including Laser Toning, FotoFacial™, BOTOX® Cosmetic or Collagen. In your consultation, discuss what results youd like to see and your consultant will outline the best treatment plan.
